The Festival is a day-long event that unites readers and writers, such as Ron Franscell, Rick Bragg, and Douglas Brinkley. Author presentations are held indoors while outdoors the Festival grounds are active with book sales, signings, children’s story time and learning projects, family activities, and a technology area. Food trucks offer a variety of eats; special tents feature live music and recipe demonstrations by cookbook authors. The large Festival Marketplace offers a lively setting for booksellers, publishers, literary-minded nonprofits, and local artists and craftmakers. Come to downtown San Antonio and meet Ron Franscell and dozens of other authors!
